Within Me, Inc. “Baby Bucks” incentive program and baby clothing library.
What are “Baby Bucks”?:
Our “baby bucks” program is meant to build relationships within the community and to serve people more effectively by providing encouragement for community members to reach out for needed services.
Through the “baby bucks” program we hope to provide community members with baby “extras” like pacifiers, bibs, shampoo, lotion, etc. when supplies are available.
How “baby bucks” work:
- Every time a community member attends a Within Me, Inc. event (ie: baby clothing library, life skill training, etc) they will receive 5 “baby bucks”.
- “Baby bucks” can then be redeemed at the next event, if supplies are available.
- Community members do not need “baby bucks” to receive items such as diapers and baby clothes.
What is a “baby clothing library”?
- Our baby clothing library is just that, a library. Similar to when you take books out from the library and then return them when you’re done, we ask the same with the baby clothes in order to recycle and reuse.
- When a community member comes to the baby clothing library they will pick 3-5 outfits (depending on supplies and size availability). When a baby outgrows those clothes we ask that you return them at our next baby clothing library event in exchange for the next size.
- Clothes that are stained are welcomed to be returned. We may not reuse them but we will try to repurposed them.
- We always accept baby clothing donations.
- Keep an eye out for scheduled baby clothing libraries and their location.
- Each time a community member comes to a baby clothing library event, they receive 5 “baby bucks” to be used at the next event. (“Baby buck” incentive items are subject to availability, but a community member can always accumulate “baby bucks” for when items are available.)
